About The Role

Are you an experienced Demand Planning professional looking for an opportunity to make a real commercial impact within a fast-paced FMCG environment? The Cornwall Bakery is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead forecasting, capacity planning, and customer demand management while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain function. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellent customer service, optimising production capacity, and supporting business growth through robust planning processes and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily forecast versus actual order review process, managing customer demand and driving corrective actions where required.
  • Develop and implement robust forecasting and capacity planning processes to support short, medium and long-term business decisions.
  • Manage seasonal peaks, promotional activity, and new product launches, ensuring planning and material availability requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to improve availability, reduce waste, and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Lead the S&OP process and drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning systems, processes, and department performance.

  • Proven experience within demand planning, supply planning, or production planning, with a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret data and produce meaningful insights and scenario analysis.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced FMCG environment and managing retailer forecasting requirements.
  • Advanced Excel and systems capability, with experience using planning and forecasting tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and build strong relationships internally and externally.
