In this role as Training Manager you will lead learning and development at our Manton Wood site. Acting as the on-site expert for all things training, you’ll oversee training across all shifts, ensuring full legal and regulatory compliance and acting as a key contact during internal and external audits. This is a hands-on role where you’ll balance strategic thinking with operational delivery. You’ll need the flexibility to work a variety of shifts to support the operation and ensure training standards are consistently met across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and coordinating training across all site shifts, ensuring consistent standards
  • Ensuring legal, customer and audit compliance, confidently supporting auditors when required
  • Managing onboarding, inductions and mandatory training compliance
  • Partnering with managers to build capability, embed coaching and develop teams
  • Designing and delivering engaging, inclusive training programmes
  • Leading, developing and supporting a team of Bakery Trainers
