The Opportunity
As Maintenance Manager, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day operation of the maintenance function, leading a team of Multi‑Skilled Engineers while ensuring safety, quality, service and cost‑control remain at the heart of everything you do.
You'll play a key role in developing a positive, proactive engineering culture and driving continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Engineers, supporting performance, engagement and development.
- Deliver a robust preventative maintenance strategy and ensure effective execution of all planned maintenance activities.
- Drive improvements in equipment reliability, plant performance and OEE.
- Manage engineering budgets, labour resources and engineering spend.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, HACCP and BRC requirements.
- Work collaboratively across Operations, Technical, Hygiene and wider business functions to maximise asset availability and production performance.
- Manage contractors and ensure all work is completed safely and to required standards.
