Are you passionate about food safety, labelling compliance, and delivering excellence from concept to shelf? Walkers Deli & Sausage Co. is looking for a detail-driven Specifications Technologist to join our Technical team in Leicester. Reporting to the Specifications Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for managing product specifications for our major retail customers, ensuring product labelling meets the highest standards of food safety, quality, and legislation. You will play a critical role in launching new products and ensuring existing lines remain compliant and accurate.

  • Maintain and complete product specifications for branded and own-label products using retailer web-based systems.
  • Co-manage the artwork approval process, ensuring packaging accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on critical path management to ensure timely product launches.
  • Attend customer pre-artwork meetings to represent the business and align on expectations.
