The Opportunity

Are you passionate about the environment and ready to make a tangible impact on sustainability in food manufacturing? We’re looking for a motivated Environmental Coordinator to join our bakery team, ensuring environmental compliance and driving continuous improvement across our operations. As our Environmental Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our environmental management systems. You’ll be the main point of contact for environmental regulators such as the Environment Agency and Water Authorities, ensuring we meet all environmental standards while helping to deliver on our sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain an environmental management system (ISO14001)
  • Liaise with regulators including the Environment Agency and Water Authority
  • Conduct environmental risk assessments and internal audits
  • Administer the site’s Energy and Food Waste Plans
  • Support environmental reporting and improvement programmes
