We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Melton Foods team. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll shape and drive engineering strategy, ensuring our bakery runs safely, efficiently, and with a focus on continuous improvement. As Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the entire Engineering function for your site, covering both bakery maintenance and site services, as well as capital projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership across engineering, asset care, and site services as well as be a duty holder for our Aylesbury bakery.
- Deliver robust maintenance and capital plans to support operational performance and growth.
- Champion a culture of health, safety and food safety compliance.
- Manage and develop your engineering teams, ensuring colleagues are skilled, motivated, and set up for success.
- Drive continuous improvement in reliability, cost control, and sustainability.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to support business performance and long-term success.

- A proactive, collaborative style with the ability to engage and inspire teams.
