We’re looking for a highly organised, discreet and proactive Company Secretarial Assistant to join our Group Legal team. This is a key role supporting the Group Company Secretary in delivering strong corporate governance, high-quality board administration, and statutory compliance across the Group. You’ll play a pivotal part in ensuring our governance processes run smoothly, supporting senior forums, and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
What you’ll be doing:
- Board & Governance Support: Supporting the smooth operation of the Group Executive Board (GEB), Group Holdings Board (GHB) and committees by preparing and circulating agendas, board packs and papers.
- Statutory Compliance: Preparing and submitting statutory filings to Companies House, maintaining statutory registers and corporate records, supporting entity management including incorporations, dissolutions and director changes.
- KYC & Corporate Information: Coordinating Know Your Customer (KYC) and corporate information requests, maintaining up-to-date corporate information packs.
- Whistleblowing & Ethics: Administering the Group whistleblowing system – tracking cases, supporting investigations and preparing reports.
- Conflicts of Interest: Managing conflict of interest declarations and registers.

- Experience in a company secretarial, governance, legal or regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of governance, statutory compliance and confidentiality.

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational discipline.
- Part-qualified or qualified CGI (ICSA); we would also consider someone without this but who has the drive to become qualified and holds strong related past experience.
