The Opportunity: Sitting on the Meals Commercial Leadership Team, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Director to shape both the long‑term (5‑year) brand vision and the short‑term execution that brings it to life. This is a role for someone who loves balancing big‑picture strategy with hands‑on delivery — building brand equity, accelerating shopper conversion and creating innovation pipelines that genuinely excite consumers and retailers. You’ll lead and develop a talented marketing team, collaborate with best‑in‑class agency partners, and play a key role in the wider Samworth Brothers marketing community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning and evolving the brand strategy and execution plan for our Meals brands
- Defining brand positioning and building distinctive, talked‑about marketing campaigns
- Shaping and delivering shopper marketing strategies that convert at fixture — physical and digital
- Driving an impulse‑led innovation pipeline, rooted in consumer insight
- Monitoring brand performance, sharing learnings and continuously optimising results
- Leading, inspiring and developing Brand Managers and Marketing Executives
