The Opportunity
This is a key role responsible for managing site engineering services, driving performance, and ensuring health & safety is embedded in everything we do.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, collaborative, and passionate about continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supporting and working alongside the Engineering Manager to deliver site engineering objectives.
  • Managing site buildings, plant, and equipment through proactive maintenance and asset-care practices.
  • Leading contractor management, permits to work, and ensuring safe systems of work are in place.
  • Driving Engineering KPI performance across efficiency, quality, safety, and reliability measures.
  • Leading and supporting Continuous Improvement and PIP initiatives across the site.
  • Managing and developing Engineering Team Leaders and contributing to succession planning.

  • Experience in a Site Service role within manufacturing (food desirable).
  • Motivated, detail-orientated and strong people skills able to influence at all levels.
  • Preferably BOAS trained (or willing to work towards this).
  • A relevant Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and organisational capability.
  • Confidence managing contractors, compliance standards, and engineering processes.
