What You\’ll Do

Are you passionate about shaping workplace culture, driving performance through people, and supporting business growth through strategic HR? At Samworth Brothers Supply Chain , we’re looking for a proactive and hands-on People Partner to join our People Team. As a key member of our team, you’ll work closely with leaders across four sites to deliver flexible and effective people solutions. You’ll play a vital role in embedding our values, enhancing employee experience, and building a positive, high-performance culture.

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers, supporting them through change and development.
• Drive initiatives across the full colleague lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to talent development and succession planning.
• Provide hands-on support in employee relations, absence management, and performance enhancement.
• Leverage people data and insight to influence business decisions and demonstrate return on investment.
• Represent the People Team in senior meetings and contribute to strategic planning when required.
• Promote wellbeing, inclusion, and continuous learning throughout the business.

What you will need

There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the People Partner role, we are looking for the following key skills and experience:

• Experience of partnering with senior management teams in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong skills in employee relations, coaching, and organisational change.
• Commercially-minded approach with a passion for people and culture.
• CIPD Level 5 is preferred but not essential—your practical experience matters most.
