This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in keeping production running efficiently, safely and to the highest standards. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead a team of Engineers, ensuring effective planned maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns and continuous improvement across engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Engineers, ensuring effective line support to meet production and customer service targets
- Plan, schedule and control labour, materials and spares within agreed budgets
- Drive effective planned maintenance, fault diagnosis and first-time fixes
- Ensure smooth operation of plant and equipment, minimising downtime
- Communicate clearly across shifts to ensure continuity and performance
- Motivate, coach and develop your team, managing performance and conduct where required
