This role leads Category within Soreen and is a crucial position within the Commercial Team. You will play a key role in shaping the future direction of our Cake and Healthier Snacks categories, ensuring a category-led approach to brand development and commercial decision-making.
Responsible for developing and implementing the Category Strategy, you'll work closely with the Sales team and key customers to deliver category-specific plans, leveraging market data and insight to drive growth, influence shopper behaviour and deliver against budgeted targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and embed the Category Vision, growth drivers and merchandising principles
- Develop and deliver the annual Category Plan aligned to company and channel strategy
- Work with Sales and customers to deliver category-specific plans across all channels
- Lead category-based Joint Business Plans with key customers
- Provide insight-led recommendations on range, distribution, merchandising and promotions
- Own market data and insights, translating them into clear commercial actions
We offer a flexible hybrid working model, typically 3 days on site and 2 days working from home, supporting a healthy balance between collaboration and flexibility.
