We are seeking an experienced Department Manager to lead a high-performing production team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while developing and engaging your people.
With 24/7 accountability for your area, you will play a key role in delivering operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable performance improvements:
- Lead and manage Production Area Managers across multiple shift patterns, setting clear and achievable performance goals
- Take full ownership of all people processes including performance management, employee relations, and engagement initiatives
- Drive training and development across the department, including skills matrices, SOP implementation, and closing capability gaps
- Oversee recruitment, succession planning, and organisational development to build a strong talent pipeline
- Foster a positive, high-performance culture through effective communication, engagement tools, and continuous improvement initiatives
