As a Maintenance Manager, you keep the site running safely and reliably. You lead the maintenance team, make sure equipment is looked after properly and help prevent breakdowns before they happen. You work closely with Operations, Engineering and Health & Safety teams to support performance, safety and continuous improvement. You are a visible leader who balances day-to-day priorities with longer-term improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the site maintenance team, including engineers and planners.
- Make sure plant, equipment and utilities are safe, compliant and well maintained.
- Plan and manage preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime.
- Respond to unplanned issues quickly and safely when they arise.
- Support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
- Manage contractors and ensure safe systems of work are followed.
- Monitor performance using maintenance KPIs and act on trends.
- Control maintenance budgets, spares and resources effectively.
- Work closely with Operations to support production plans and site priorities.
About You

- Experience in Engineering leadership in food manufacture is essential.
- Have experience of managing a team.

- Be able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of coaching, developing and motivating others is essential.
