Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will play a key role in delivering engineering excellence, driving continuous improvement, reducing downtime, and ensuring all maintenance activities support production requirements.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about developing teams and improving performance.

Lead, manage and develop the engineering team to deliver outstanding performance.

Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with company standards.

Maximise engineering resources to support operational requirements.

Drive a proactive maintenance culture through effective preventative maintenance planning.

Analyse downtime trends, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Manage engineering KPIs and communicate performance across the business.

Manage engineering budgets, labour costs, and contractor expenditure.

You will have experience leading maintenance teams in a food manufacturing environment.

Have experience of managing a team Bringing strong technical understanding of plant, machinery and maintenance systems.

Experience of coaching, developing and motivating others is essential.
