Samuel Whitbread Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to assist within our Learning Support Department in the challenging yet fulfilling role of SEND Administrative Assistant. This isn't just a data-entry job. It's a role in education administration with a team that values continuous learning. We are the team that ensures students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) get the right support to thrive. As our Admin Assistant, you will help to keep everything running smoothly. You will be working closely with our Lead SEND Administrator, our SENCO, and the wider team.
While experience of working in an educational setting is desirable, if you haven't worked in a school before and have great IT skills, a 'can-do' attitude, and a good sense of humour, we can teach you the rest. The successful candidate will have strong IT and administrative skills, and a genuine passion for ensuring every student receives the support they need.
Responsibilities:
