Trainee Area Manager - a unique opportunity to work for an independent British brewery. Educated to degree level, you will have an interest in general management, pubs and hospitality. Our brewery seeks a practical person with common sense and ambition who can find their niche and develop their career in management within a small independent firm.

This is a full-time varied role where no two days will be the same with opportunities to work in the various aspects of hospitality and retail management. The position will offer a resourceful candidate the chance to develop their skills and build a career with a private company. There is a requirement to work 3 weekday evenings per week. You will be office based at the brewery in Tadcaster. A driving licence is essential because much of your time will be spent working on site at the brewery's pubs.

The successful candidate will have most or all of the following:

  • Some experience of multi-site management.
  • Personable and an excellent communicator, with fluent English language.
  • Live within a 45 min journey of Tadcaster, North Yorkshire LS24 9SB.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality while working for a private company.
  • Competent with MS Word & Excel.
  • Have an eye for detail, be flexible and adaptable.
