We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pub Manager to run one of our historical pubs in the heart of The City. The role offers the opportunity to deliver genuine hospitality while maintaining the traditional values and standards for which Samuel Smith's is renowned and has the bonus of closed at Saturday and Sunday, This is a hands-on management role suited to those who enjoy working directly with customers, leading by example, and creating welcoming environments where people can enjoy quality food, drink and hospitality. Key Responsibilities: Full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar. Creating a warm, welcoming and well-managed environment for customers. Leading and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service. Managing food service operations where applicable and ensuring consistently high standards are maintained. Upholding brewery policies, standards and values. Promoting and maintaining the quality of Samuel Smith's cocktails and beers. Basic financial administration, stock control and cellar management. Ensuring the pubs are maintained to a high standard. Building strong relationships within the local community and encouraging repeat business. About You: Previous experience managing a restaurant, bar or similar hospitality business . Strong leadership, organisational and customer service skills. Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations. A professional, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic. Passion for traditional rural pubs, quality food and exceptional hospitality. Willingness to live on-site in the accommodation provided. What's On Offer Attractive rent-free accommodation . Utility bills paid by the brewery. Salary of Β£33-36,000 per person.
