An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated management couple to take responsibility for the Harewood Arms, a charming historic coaching inn situated opposite the entrance to the renowned Harewood House, conveniently located between Leeds and Harrogate.
Offering traditional hospitality in an exceptional rural setting, the Harewood Arms combines a welcoming village pub atmosphere with 32 beautifully appointed guest accommodation rooms.
Several bedrooms enjoy picturesque views across the gardens and the Wharfe Valley.
We are seeking a hands-on management who can lead from the front, delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining the high standards and traditional values for which Samuel Smith's is renowned.
Key
Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the
pub and guest accommodation .
Leading and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Overseeing food preparation and ensuring consistently high standards of quality and presentation.
Managing front-of-house operations and creating a warm, welcoming environment for customers and guests.
Upholding brewery policies, standards and values while maintaining the traditional character and ethos of the business.
Promoting and ensuring the quality presentation of Samuel Smith's beers and ales.
Carrying out basic financial administration, stock control and cellar management.
Ensuring the pub, accommodation and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard.
About
You:
Previous experience managing a hotel, pub, inn or similar hospitality business .
Strong leadership, organisational and customer service skills.
Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
A professional, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.
Passion for traditional rural pubs, quality food and exceptional hospitality.
Willingness to live on-site in the accommodation provided.
