We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Chef or Kitchen Manager to join our team at a traditional Samuel Smith's pub in Central London. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys leading a busy kitchen while maintaining high standards of food quality, service, hygiene and team performance. Working within a medium to high-volume kitchen, you will lead by example, preparing and serving quality traditional pub food while supporting, training and developing the kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
What We're Looking For:
- Experience at Supervisor, Sous Chef, Senior Chef or Head Chef level.
- Experience working in a branded, fresh food or traditional pub environment.
- Experience managing busy kitchen, with food sales of approximately £5kβ£12k per week.
- Food Safety Level 2 or 3 qualification.
- Strong kitchen management and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of food costs and the ability to achieve agreed GP targets.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with the whole team.
- A willingness to be hands-on and actively involved in service and work well under pressure.
