Senior Site Manger
On behalf of our client we are recruiting for a Senior Site Managers as our Wales & Western framework gathers pace. Working on Civils and building projects on Network Rail infrastructure we are seeking some key additions to our delivery team.
We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.
Role and Responsibilities:
Customers: A delighted customer that prefers our clompany for the delivery of their projects. The customer is informed, engaged and delighted with project performance and the travelling customer has an improved experience in and around our infrastructure projects.
Brand: Promote the companies brand and lead by example by demonstrating the agreed values and behaviors in all interactions with the team, including suppliers and customers. Create a culture that is underpinned by professionalism and quality.
Leadership: A fully accountable leader of the site team that leads by example and follows the clients vision, developing themselves and others whilst empowering your people. Promotes a site safety culture that focuses on leadership at all levels with everyone going home safe, every day.
People: To adhere to an efficient set of the companies systems and processes. Ensure that legislative and customers\’ mandatory policies and procedures are delivered appropriately within a governance framework.

Financial: Accepting accountability for profit and loss for our projects, successfully return a profitable outcome, in line with the agreed site targets. What we are looking for in the right candidate:
Experience & Knowledge
Relevant experience in the delivery arena. Experience and knowledge of construction industry – awareness of current techniques.
Working knowledge of NEC contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management and cost control including forecasting, actual cost and value reporting.
Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to general civil engineering.
Experience of running Rail projects on Network Rail infrastructure.
Lead team of up to 10 direct reports assisting their all-round development
Temporary Works Co-ordinator (desirable)
Leadership experience (desirable)
Knowledge of Primavera P6 software or Microsoft Projects (desirable)
Qualifications
Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience or relevant qualification
CEng MICE, or equivalent (desirable)
CSCS Managers card
Appointed person CPCS card (desirable)
IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS
