The role involves providing Contract Administration and Contract Management services to protect the company's commercial position and contractual entitlements, ensuring the completion and hand-over of works to budget, specification, and schedule.
Support sales activities by assisting with the preparation of tenders and negotiating contracts to ensure submission of commercially viable proposals that achieve the customer’s technical and business goals.
Outline of Projects: The design, supply, installation, commissioning, and hand-over of Power Generation & Power Transmission Systems. Maintain medium-term and short-term forecasts and budgets for the Power Division to establish measurable performance benchmarks that align with the company’s and headquarters’ corporate targets and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Documents, Contractual Correspondence and Notices: Draft, negotiate, amend, and prepare Contract Documents, Subcontract Documents, Agreements, Terms & Conditions, and Notices to protect the company's commercial position.
- Contract Negotiation & Proposals: Assist with the preparation of tenders and negotiation of contract terms & conditions.
- Risk Analysis and Risk Management: Identify, assess, and minimise the risk of contractual disputes.
- Review & Evaluation of Tenders and Contract Documents: Evaluate tenders from Subcontractors, produce reports, and ensure contracts meet company and Client requirements.
- Prepare Business Planning and Reporting: Conduct periodic contract reviews, develop forecasts and budgets, and analyse variances.
- Manage Variations and Changes: Monitor and control variation orders and site instructions.
- Preparation, Presentation, Management and Negotiation of Claims: Establish Claim Files, develop claims, and ensure effective resolution of claims.
- Project Administration & Execution: Maintain records, prepare reports, assist in planning and scheduling, and ensure effective communication among parties.
