Project Delivery Engineer – Major Projects (SAP)
Locations: York, Sheffield, Castleford, Brigg, Hull (Yorkshire-wide)

We’re proud to be partnering with a leading electricity distribution network that powers 3.9 million homes and businesses across the North of England.
They are looking for 6 experienced Project Delivery Engineers to join their Major Projects Team. If you\’re a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with operational experience from 11kV to 132kV, this is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex reinforcement and new connection projects across the network.
What You’ll Be Doing

Manage and deliver HV & EHV capital reinforcement and new connection projects (demand and generation)

Act as SAP on the distribution network up to 132kV

Plan and coordinate construction activity, outages, and emergency response procedures

Participate in the operational standby rota (post-authorisation)

Ensure delivery is safe, compliant, and aligned with cost, time and quality expectations
What They’re Looking For

HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Minimum 3 years of relevant HV project experience

Existing HV/EHV SAP authorisation (or ability to obtain), ideally up to 132kV

Strong working knowledge of CDM, Distribution Safety Rules, and plant commissioning

Proven experience delivering technical projects within regulatory and operational frameworks

NEBOSH/IOSH or similar HSE qualification
