Samuel Knight Energy is one of the leading recruitment businesses supporting the construction of critical infrastructure across North America. Due to continued growth within our Data Center division, we are looking to hire a Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our team and support some of the largest hyperscale data center projects currently being built across the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in recruitment, sales, talent acquisition, or the wider construction and infrastructure sectors. Full training will be provided, and successful candidates will have a clear pathway for progression into recruitment consultant and senior consultant positions.
Monday – Thursday: 12:00pm – 9:00pm (Office Based)
Friday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm (Work From Home)
Salary: Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
The Role
As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be identifying, engaging, qualifying, and building relationships with professionals working within the data center construction industry. You will be supporting major construction companies, electrical contractors, and engineering organizations delivering hyperscale data center projects for some of the world's largest technology companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identifying suitable candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, databases, referrals, and market mapping
- Building and maintaining a network of construction and engineering professionals across the USA
- Conducting telephone interviews and qualification calls with prospective candidates
- Assessing candidate suitability against client requirements
- Managing candidate records and activity through our CRM system
- Supporting recruitment consultants with active vacancies and hiring campaigns
- Developing expertise within the rapidly growing hyperscale data center market
- Building long-term relationships with candidates throughout their careers
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with people over the phone
- A proactive and resilient attitude
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
- Previous recruitment, sales, customer service, telesales, hospitality, or call‑centre experience is advantageous but not essential
- Ambition to develop a long-term career within recruitment
