We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager with a strong background in underground cable systems. This role combines technical project management with marketing and sales responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to both the delivery and growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage underground cable system projects from initiation to completion.
- Oversee design reviews, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve successful delivery.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Marketing & Sales:
- Support the development of business opportunities within the power cable industry.
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals to clients.
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients or projects.
- Collaborate with the management team on marketing strategies, promotional materials, and customer relationship management.
- Participate in exhibitions, tenders, and client meetings to promote company capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in underground cable system projects (132kV and above preferred).
- Strong understanding of project management principles and power transmission systems.
- Experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the energy or engineering sector is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with project management tools is a plus.
Salary: £90,000 - £95,000 D.O.E
