A growing main contractor with a strong foothold in the industrial and logistics (shed) sector is looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial delivery of a £13m design & build industrial project in Bromley. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who’s confident managing large industrial schemes and wants to join a business that’s scaling quickly, backed by highly experienced leadership and a solid pipeline for 2025.

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take full ownership of commercial management on a £13m, 100,000 sq ft design & build logistics project. You’ll be reporting directly to the Commercial Director and working closely with the project team on-site.
Key responsibilities:
- Full commercial management of the project as the lead Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Procurement, subcontract management, valuations, change control, and reporting.
- Producing CVRs, forecasts, and monthly financial summaries.
- Managing risk, cost tracking, and contractual obligations under JCT D&B.
- Ensuring strong commercial performance and client satisfaction.
This project is due to start in early Q1, so the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be involved from pre-start through to final account — a perfect chance to take ownership of a project from day one.
About You
To be considered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience delivering industrial / logistics / warehouse / shed projects.
- Background with a main contractor or design & build business.
- Experience managing projects in the £10–15m+ range.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work independently.
- Located within a reasonable commute of Bromley (South East London / North Kent).
- Confident communicator with a proactive, delivery-focused approach.
