We’re looking for a dependable and experienced Structural Steel Site Manager to join our expanding team, playing a key role in managing on-site operations across various projects in the South of England.
About the Role:
As Site Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management of site operations. You’ll ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all site activities and manage site teams effectively
- Maintain strict health and safety standards on-site
- Liaise confidently with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Track project progress and provide regular updates to senior management
- Keep thorough records and documentation for all site activities
- Manage both in-house and subcontractor installation crews
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in structural steel projects
- Previous exposure to refurbishment works is highly desirable
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS card, and ideally First Aid certificate
- Lifting operations experience and qualifications would be a strong advantage
- Excellent understanding of construction processes and health & safety regulations
