We have an exclusive opportunity on a £40 million Cat A commercial refurbishment starting September 2025. - £40 million Cat A commercial refurbishment, City of London
- 7 floors of Cat A office space plus small Cat B fit-out
- Rooftop extension and basement plant alterations
- £18 million MEP subcontract package
- Occupied building — live environment logistics throughout
- Pre-construction start immediately, on site September 2025
The Role — Senior Project Manager:
- Take full ownership and accountability for project delivery
- Lead and manage a site team of 8-10 direct reports
- Administer the JCT contract throughout the project lifecycle
- Guide and challenge the project programmer
- Coordinate the £18m MEP package and wider supply chain
- Manage central London logistics with existing tenants in occupation
- Act as the key point of contact between site, client and senior leadership
The Ideal Senior Project Manager Will Have:
- A background from a Tier 1 or established main contractor — not freelance
- Demonstrable experience delivering major commercial projects at £30m+ value
- Strong, working JCT contract knowledge
- Solid programme knowledge and the confidence to administer and challenge
- Experience managing teams of 8 or more on a single project
- A stable employment history — long-term tenure with previous employers
- Commercial fit-out or Cat A refurbishment experience preferred
- The ability to commute to central London (north of river preferred)
