Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven track record in architectural metalwork and secondary steelwork? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, specialist contractor delivering high-rise balcony packages across the UK with most projects concentrated within the M25.
Our client works on a diverse range of contracts, from GBP50K to over GBP8M in value, incorporating materials such as glass, timber, and steel. With a strong pipeline and projects that push the boundaries of design and function, they are now seeking a commercially aware, organised, and proactive Contracts Manager to lead multiple schemes through to successful completion.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing multiple contracts simultaneously, ensuring each is delivered on time, to specification, and within budget. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers while maintaining close communication with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of contracts from award to final handover
- Maintain financial control and project timelines
- Coordinate site activities and logistics in collaboration with delivery teams
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Ensure all works are compliant with health & safety regulations and quality standards
About You:
- Minimum 5 years experience in architectural metalwork or secondary steelwork
- Demonstrable experience managing contracts in the construction industry
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- High level of IT proficiency, especially in MS Word and Excel
- CSCS and SMSTS certification are essential
- Based in or able to commute to North London regularly
