We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join a reputable Main Contractor within their Build Division. With multiple projects underway and a strong pipeline, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in project planning and delivery. Reporting directly to the Build Director, you’ll be responsible for overseeing two schemes at a time, ensuring projects are planned efficiently and delivered on time.

This is a great opportunity for a Construction Planner to take a leading role in project planning from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities for the Construction Planner:
  • Take the lead on project planning, ensuring realistic and achievable construction schedules.
  • Develop and maintain detailed programmes using industry-leading software.
  • Work closely with the Build Director and project teams to coordinate and optimise planning.
  • Provide regular updates, risk analysis, and progress reports on live projects.
Essential Requirements for the Construction Planner:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Planner within the Main Contractor environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, critical path analysis, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in planning software (Asta Powerproject or Primavera preferred).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills to provide clear planning strategies.
