Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a specialist engineering business supplying high-value, engineered solutions into industrial markets across the UK and beyond. This Business Development Manager role will be geared towards new business initially, focused on identifying new sectors, opening doors and converting opportunities into long-term customers.
If you are a Business Development Manager who is credible in technical environments and used to selling a full engineered service (not just components), this could be a strong fit. The successful Business Development Manager will work closely with technical and commercial teams to build tailored solutions across areas including specialist hydraulics equipment, large industrial pumps, actuators, gas technologies and cooling systems.
Key aspects of the Business Development Manager role include:
- Strategically develop new customers in new markets as well as working with legacy customers who haven't been contacted or worked with for an extended period.
- Role covers the whole of the UK.
- Role requires Business Development Manager to have experience of selling a full engineered service, rather than selling components. This is going to suit someone who solves problems, not someone who is an order taker.
Salary range £55-60k depending on experience + company car + bonus.
