Samuel Frank is recruiting for an Electrical Design Engineer with EPLAN experience to join a specialist system integrator located in North Nottinghamshire. The company works on a wide variety of bespoke solutions, so this role will suit a designer who wants to work across a range of sectors on projects varying in size and complexity.
Key aspects of the EPLAN Electrical Design Engineer role include:
- Recent/demonstrable experience of designing control panels using EPLAN Pro Panel
- EPLAN Electrical design to include electrical schematics, control panel GAs, cable block diagrams, cable/termination schedules, bill of materials for use in various sectors including food & beverage manufacturing, FMCG, pharmaceutical, material handling, conveyors etc.
- Create functional specifications for systems and components such as motors, drives, switchboards, transformers and cabling
- Knowledge of industrial control systems including electrical distribution equipment, motor control centres and PLC control panels
- Detailed design studies and calculations
- Customer support, co-ordination, tendering and project handovers
A UK driving licence is required. You must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship. The role will be office based, 39 hours per week. The client is easily commutable from the following places: Nottingham, Newark-on-Trent, Mansfield, Chesterfield and Worksop.
