Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Junior Project Manager to join a South Yorkshire-based control systems integrator delivering automation and software related projects to end users. This role is well suited to a Junior Project Manager who wants to build their career within a supplier/integrator environment, managing multiple customer-facing projects.
Key aspects of the Junior Project Manager position include:
- Exposure to projects from order handover through design, build, FAT, installation and commissioning
- Working alongside an experienced Project Manager who will mentor and support your development
- Good MS Excel skills essential
- Qualified to at least Degree level
- Technical background or qualification beneficial (Electrical, Controls, Automation or Mechanical preferred)
- Liaising with internal engineers, subcontractors and external customers
- Supporting project planning, scheduling and resource coordination
- Assisting with project cost control, variations and invoicing
- Producing weekly project updates, status reports and meeting minutes
- Tracking progress across multiple live projects, typical of a systems integrator environment
- Coordinating documentation, project data and financials
