Samuel Frank is recruiting for an electrically biased Service Engineer with previous experience of working on machinery or plant equipment for a successful, well-established OEM.

Key aspects of the Service Engineer roles include:

  • Successful Service Engineer must have recent, demonstrable electrical fault-finding experience and will attend site with an experienced Controls Engineer and Hydraulics Engineer to install, commission and service specialist equipment.
  • The company’s base is in Leeds and they’re looking for a Service Engineer who lives in the Midlands who can service their Midlands and Southern based customers; occasional trips to Leeds may also be required.
  • When not servicing, the successful Service Engineer will be either on stand-by at home or will attend customer visits to build relationships and increase potential revenue.
  • Bonus scheme for work brought into the department from customers.
  • 36 hour working week; all hours worked over 36 are paid overtime which starts at x1.5.
  • All travelling hours to site and to the Leeds facility are paid hours.
  • Regularly weekly stop overs expected.
  • Ford Transit Van with all required tools supplied.
  • Service Engineer will receive a float, so never has to pay out up front for meals, expenses, hotels etc.
  • Service Engineers applying must have a UK driving licence and be able to work in the UK without sponsorship.
