Senior Electrical Engineer – Permanent Highly Regulated Industry – Stafford – £60-65k + hybrid working + bonus + 30 days annual leave + BUPA
Ambitious, growing company is recruiting for a Degree qualified Senior Electrical Engineer with experience of leading Engineers working in a highly regulated environment, who is ready to make the step up to Principal Engineer.
Key aspects of the Senior Electrical Engineer role include
- Take charge of and lead project teams delivering electrical control systems and safety systems
- Have first class stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly regulated industry experience
- Senior Electrical Engineer will initiate, oversee and lead all engineering activities on a project or group of projects
- Knowledge of working to ISO 9001 standards is key
- Oversee the activities of the team and help overcome problems by providing guidance
- A Senior Electrical Engineer working towards Chartered status will be supported and mentored
- Youll need to be a British passport holder and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years, as youll be put through security clearance if you havent already got it.
- Being comfortable working in the defence sector
- The management team encourages a sensible work-life balance which encourages all colleagues to leave the office by 4.30pm daily and have 30 days holiday per year, as well as the statutory Bank Holidays
- Role will be based from the Stafford office (3 days per week) and home (2 days per week) with occasional day trips to customer sites
Senior Electrical Engineer package –
- Up to 10% bonus
- 30 days holiday + statutory days
- Private healthcare includes family members after 6 months service
- 6% pension contribution
- 2 days a week from home (everyone works from home on Mondays and Fridays)
The clients' offices are easily commutable from Stoke, Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield, Telford, Uttoxeter, Stone.
