Junior Commissioning Engineer – Electrical – Reading / Berkshire – Permanent – £40-45K + bonus + 30 days holiday + BUPA Samuel Frank is recruiting an electrically biased Junior Commissioning Engineer to join a well-established, specialist engineering business with ongoing site work in the Reading area. The Junior Commissioning Engineer role will suit a Degree qualified Engineer with around 1-4 years experience. All applicants must have a British passport and not hold dual nationality, as you’ll be put through security clearance. Key aspects of the Junior Commissioning Engineer role include – * Phase 1 will involve preparing and writing all commissioning related documentation, this will take place on a hybrid basis between home, site and some trips to Head Office in Staffordshire * Phase 2 will involve being based on customer site in Reading where you’ll test & commission the electrical systems * When working on site, pre-agreed overtime will be paid on top of a daily allowance payment (plus all travel & accommodation costs). * Junior Commissioning Engineer role will suit an Engineer at the beginning stages of their career who is interested in learning and completing key stages in the commissioning stages of project delivery. * The Junior Commissioning Engineer role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to learn from high calibre, seasoned professionals in both office and site based environments * The role will be an ideal opportunity for an Electrical Engineer wanting to pursue a career in commissioning. Role could suit an Engineer with some electrical design experience wanting to evolve into a site based/commissioning specialist. * All applicants must be British and not hold dual nationality – this is an essential requirement for the role. * UK driving licence – essential requirement * The company encourages and will support Engineers taking on Chartered status / MSc qualifications etc. * 30 days holiday per year as well as the statutory Bank Holidays * Potential bonus pool of up to 10% of your basic salary * Qualified to least Degree level – essential requirement * The site work will be commutable from Newbury, Reading, Basingstoke, Bracknell and the surrounding areas.
