HV/LV Engineer – Team Leader – Deeside/Chester – £60-64k + Quarterly Bonus Scheme (up to 14% of salary) + 10% Employer Pension Contribution + Private Medical Samuel Frank is recruiting for an HV/LV Engineer to a join a globally recognised manufacturing company with a large base in the Deeside / Chester area with responsibility covering all HV/LV infrastructure on site, ranging from incoming 33kV down to LV distribution systems. Key aspects of the HV/LV Team Leader position include; * Leadership of a small, well experienced team of HV Technicians and Electricians * Management of specialist HV support contracts & cable jointing contractors * Is authorised to switch (33kV minimum) & is able to write switching schedules * Strong communication & leadership skills * The HV/LV Team Leader role will sit on the site electrical safety committee * Deliver annual “Safety Near Misses” training * Understanding of current legislation, including “Electricity at Work” regulations * Management of Health & Safety regulations * Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering * Specify and conduct risk assessments * 35 days holiday per year including Bank Holidays * Annual pay review * Company is able to support an HV/LV Engineer looking to gain Chartered status The company is committed to the training and development of their team.
