Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Head of Service Delivery for a specialist West Yorkshire based Engineering company. The successful Head of Service Delivery will need to be commercially astute, have first‑class communication skills and experience driving profitability across field service teams, repairs and refurbishment works and/or upgrades and modifications on special‑purpose machinery or plant equipment.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Leadership of a small group of managers (Design, Service, Projects)
  • Demonstrable experience in a senior service or operations role within capital equipment, special‑purpose machinery or industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience of service delivery in an engineering environment from the supplier/service side
  • Responsible for delivering all aspects of the aftermarket service business including customer support, field service, maintenance, equipment refurbishment and supply and management of spare parts
  • Opportunity to progress into a more senior role within the business; position could suit someone aiming to achieve Director level post
  • Company is well established and well regarded in its specialist field, looking to diversify and build market share across a range of industries
  • Travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally, especially in the early stages, to build relationships with customers
  • Background could be Electrical or Mechanical biased and require working knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel in/out of UK without restriction and work in UK without sponsorship

The Head of Service Delivery may currently work as Head of Aftersales, Engineering Services Manager, Technical Services Manager, Head of Engineering Services, Service Delivery Manager or Head of Service Operations. The premises are easily commutable from large parts of West Yorkshire including Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley, Harrogate, Skipton, Shipley, Otley, Burnley, Nelson, Colne.
