Field Service Engineer – Electrical / Instrumentation – Home Based – £40-43k + overtime + car/car allowance (£5500) + bonus = £60-68k+ package Samuel Frank is recruiting a Field Service Engineer. We are looking for a Field Service Engineer with good electrical & instrumentation knowledge, who is skilled in fault finding on motors, fans, pumps, low voltage instrumentation, control loops, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting. Key aspects of the Field Service Engineer role include: * Good electrical knowledge with experience of motors, pumps, fans, low voltage instrumentation & control loops * Field Service Engineer must be willing to travel and spend time away from home – role could suit a skilled Maintenance Engineer who is willing to travel * Most of the site work will be located in the UK & Ireland (70-80%) with the rest being international. * Knowledge of gas combustion systems will be advantageous * Perform testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment * Qualified to at least HNC level * Flexibility to work away for 3-4 weeks at a time and work weekends * Occasionally respond to emergency call-outs and resolve issues in a timely manner * Conduct regular maintenance checks to ensure equipment is operating at optimal performance * x1.5 overtime pay on Saturdays and x2 overtime pay on Sundays. * All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship & have a full UK driving licence Ideal places to live, in terms of reasonable travel time to most customers – North West, Lancashire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, East Midlands, Cheshire, Staffordshire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Liverpool, Warrington, Manchester, Leeds, Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, North East, Newcastle, Sunderland, Stafford, Warwick, Birmingham & Durham.
