Control Systems Engineer Sheffield / South Yorkshire System Integrator / Process Control Permanent £50,000 to £65,000

Key responsibilities for the Control Systems Engineer:

  • Design, configure and develop PLC and SCADA software from scratch.
  • Deliver full project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning.
  • Produce detailed specifications and design documentation.
  • Test and commission systems safely in operational environments.
  • Work on an approximate 85%/15% office-to-site split (regional sites, very occasional overnight staying away)

Requirements for the successful Control Systems Engineer:

  • Strong experience in PLC programming and SCADA development.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects from start to finish.
  • Ideally degree-qualified with 5+ years relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working for a system integrator is highly desirable.
  • UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Office is easily accessible from Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Chesterfield, Worksop, and South Leeds.
