Mechanical Design Engineer 6 month contract – West Manchester – Special Purpose Machinery / Robotics – £40-45hr Hybrid/Home Working Available Outside IR35 Immediate Start Samuel Frank is recruiting for a contract Mechanical Design Engineer to join a successful, bespoke, special purpose machine manufacturer based in West Manchester for a December or early January start. Successful Mechanical Design Engineer needs to have special purpose / automated machine design experience as well as knowledge of designing manufacturing cells that require robots and/or cobots. Key aspects of the Mechanical Design Engineer role include; Competent in technical aspects of mechanical design and development of special purpose machinery and / or manufacturing cells using robots/cobots complying with CE Machinery Directive Ideal background for the successful Mechanical Design Engineer will include previous experience of designing for an OEM, a special purpose machine manufacturer or a systems integrator 3D CAD mechanical design experience using SolidWorks.
