Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer to join a special purpose machine manufacturer based in West Yorkshire. The company has been established for over 40 years and is a well-known brand in their market, known for manufacturing high quality, long lasting machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Engineers applying are likely to be mechanically biased, with some electrical appreciation/knowledge.
- Knowledge of working in food factory environments – strongly preferred.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and upgrades and involve Sales team with identified opportunities, including refurbishments and new equipment.
- Prepare RAMS.
- Inspect site work, carry out surveys, and maintain service stock.
Key Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence – essential.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S Qualification – ideal.
- Hours worked over 37.3/week are paid at x1.5.
The company is easily commutable from large parts of West Yorkshire including places such as Leeds, Bradford, Keighley, Ilkley, Skipton, Shipley, Halifax, and Otley. When the successful Service Engineer isn’t out on customer sites, they’ll be based on the shop floor in West Yorkshire.
