Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Requirements Engineer for a Staffordshire based, specialist engineering business. The successful Requirements Engineer will need to be a British passport holder and be Degree qualified and ideally have some control systems experience.
Key aspects
- Inquisitive approach, able to question beyond surface level answers to understand root cause of problems and not be afraid to challenge!
- Qualified to at least Degree level (ideally in Electrical or Controls related subject). Requirement Engineers with mechanical backgrounds will also be considered.
- Experience of working as a Requirements Engineer in a highly regulated industry
- Ability to collect, process and interpret data and information.
- Strong written English skills to be able to produce high quality documentation
- Be able to manage client effectively as well as communicate clear responses to internal stakeholders
- Keep up to date with latest legislation updates and changes, be able to suggest and advise on imminent changes
- Opportunities to progress into either a Principal level Engineer or potentially go down the commercial route in strategic level advisory capacity
- You’ll need to be a British passport holder and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years, as you’ll be put through basic level security clearance
- The management team encourages a sensible work-life balance with the MD making sure people leave the office by 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 12:30 on Fridays
- The company encourages and will support Engineers taking on Chartered status / MSc qualifications etc.
- 30 days holiday per year as well as the statutory Bank Holidays
