Role Summary
Samsung SDS Europe Limited (“SDSE”) in the UK is the European Regional Head Office of Samsung SDS, a global software solutions and IT services company. SDSE provides software and solutions for enterprise mobility, security, analytics, and mobile sales and training. We enable our customers in government, financial services, retail and other industries to drive business in a hyper-connected economy by helping them increase productivity, safeguard assets, and make smarter decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end sourcing projects in SAP, ensuring compliance with Samsung SDS procurement policies and procedures.
- Coordinate tender processes and support supplier selection, performance and contract management.
- Support Procurement Category Leads and internal stakeholders, including Sales, with sourcing activities.
- Manage procurement transactions and ensure accurate processing in SAP.
- Support month-end closing, audits and preparation of required documentation.
- Prepare weekly procurement updates and handle ad hoc procurement tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or 1–2 years of relevant procurement/SCM experience.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
- CIPS Level 3 or Level 4 qualification, or willingness to pursue certification, is a plus.
- Legally eligible to work in the UK.
