The People Advisor (Partner Colleagues) is a pivotal coordination support role within the People Operations and Projects Team and covers all management for approximately 600 Partner Colleagues (agency workers) based in the UK and Ireland.

Role And Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing strategic relationships with managers, Partner Colleagues and their agencies to ensure that in-life workers have a positive customer journey.
  • Managing all queries in line with relevant policies, and raising approvals relating to any assignment changes such as contract extensions, rate increases, job titles and grade changes.
  • Working with agencies to ensure changes are communicated to their payroll and that any paperwork and/or Samsung system adjustments are made in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Regular monitoring and auditing of Partner Colleague data held by both Samsung and partner agencies.
  • Reporting, analysis and manipulation of Partner Colleague data as needed by the business, with support from the Systems Manager where required.
  • Regular use of Microsoft Excel required.
  • Working closely with Reward Team and partner agencies to own annual rate review process for Partner Colleague population.
  • Assisting Accounts Payable Team with any queries regarding agency invoicing.
  • Processing Partner Colleague leavers via the respective agency and ensuring all Samsung assets are returned.
  • Regularly reviewing policies relevant to Partner Colleagues and communicating any relevant policy changes to agencies.

What We Need For This Role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A high level of attention to detail, an analytical mind-set and curiosity about data.
  • Knowledge of agency and temporary worker legislation and practices.
  • Strong MS Office knowledge, with Excel being essential, including reference and logical formulae such as VLOOKUP, IF etc.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team but also have the gravitas to work autonomously with minimal direction.
  • Comfortable in escalating where necessary.
  • Constantly review and question our systems, processes and ways of working, looking for efficiency and improvements.
  • Enjoy dealing with people, with great customer service skills.
  • Pace and energy about their work, a passion for getting it done well and on time.
  • A proactive, positive, energetic and supportive member of the People Team, actively contributing to team meetings and projects.
  • Highly organised and able to balance workload effectively.

The interview process

1st Stage – Head of Operations & HR Advisor (Current incumbent)
2nd Stage – Head of Talent Acquisition & People team business partner.
