With the proliferation of Connected Smart TVs, Samsung Ads has developed a new platform that bridges TV and digital. Advertisers can now use real‑time viewing behaviour to reach consumers in new and innovative ways. We are looking for a candidate to join a rapidly growing team for a 12‑month contract to help define the next chapter of an up‑and‑coming hyper‑growth advertising business.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with programmatic platforms and key stakeholders across Europe.
- Optimize advertising inventory on Connected TV and drive revenue growth within the programmatic ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with commercial leadership, ad operations, engineering and product teams.
- Maintain strong partner relationships, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving successful outcomes.
- Coordinate inventory quality with SSPs, eliminating fraudulent or low‑quality traffic.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and competitive landscape to inform partnership strategies.
- Generate insightful performance reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze partnership performance, applying data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Ideal Abilities
- Advanced partner management and video advertising experience in Europe.
- Strong understanding of ad tech, including DPO, Prebid and header bidding.
- Clear interest in marketing, analytics and data‑driven solutions.
- Excellent communication, organizational and detail‑orientation skills.
- Experience in programmatic advertising within a large‑scale digital video publisher or buy‑side strategy role.
What We Need for This Role
- Proven experience in the programmatic advertising ecosystem.
- Extensive experience with ad sales or partner management.
- Experience collaborating with legal and data‑protection teams on contracts and compliance matters.
- Knowledge of video and Connected TV ad servers.
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising platforms (DSPs, DMPs).
- Specific CTV experience is preferable.
- Data analysis and reporting skills using tools such as Google Analytics and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptability to navigating changing ad tech landscapes.
- Ability to work well under pressure in fast‑paced environments.
- A continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends.
What Does Success Look Like?
Success will be measured by ad revenue, demand optimisations, and the quality of demand partnerships. Activities include:
- Week 1: Set up
- Weeks 2‑4: Business and team immersion
- Weeks 5‑6: Present operational and product understanding
- Months 2‑3: Full independence on campaign and tag management
- Months 4‑12: Deeper analytical and technical understanding and proactive optimisation proposals.
