Position Summary
Why join our team? ESBO Product & GTM is building the operational infrastructure of a newly integrated function from the ground up and this role will be critical in enabling this. As Programme Management & Operations Lead, you will design and run the systems, processes, and strategic programmes that enable an ambitious product and commercial team to perform at its best. From budget ownership to Ads Academy, from sprint planning to impact reporting, this is a role with genuine breadth and real influence, shaping not just how the team operates today but how it scales. If you are someone who finds energy in building order from complexity and making teams around you faster and smarter, this role was designed for you.
ESBO Product & GTM is a new integrated function with ambitious commercial and operational goals. The Programme Management & Operations Lead owns the operational infrastructure that enables the function to perform - from strategic programme delivery and team rhythm to budget management, impact reporting, and cross-functional enablement. This role owns the systems, processes, and strategic programmes that the entire function depends on. The Programme Management & Operations Lead is expected to operate with significant autonomy, design and implement the operational backbone of the function, and influence senior stakeholders across the business without formal authority.
Your key responsibilities
- Strategic programme delivery: Own the ESBO product and GTM launch calendar across all domain teams and own the programme management for strategic product launches. Sequence launches, manage cross-team dependencies, and coordinate with ESBO and Global P&E sprint cycles to ensure ESBO market requirements are effectively incorporated into decisions made upstream. Identify and resolve delivery conflicts before they escalate to the Director.
- Operating cadence and team rhythm: Design and own the operating cadence of the function - sprint planning, cross-domain syncs, team rituals, and the quarterly EMEA Market Brief process into Global P&E. Ensure the function operates to a consistent, visible rhythm through clear communication channels that internal and external stakeholders can depend on.
- Product Intake and prioritisation: Manage the product intake process by which new requests, requirements, and opportunities enter the function from Sales, CSM, PDAT and Global P&E partners. Ensure every request is triaged, owned, tracked, and resolved. Nothing falls through the gap.
- Impact reporting: Own how the function reports its impact to business leadership. Build and maintain the reporting infrastructure - sprint-level execution, quarterly performance against goals, launch outcomes, and strategic KPIs. Translate team output into business language that the ESBO SVP/GM and EVP of P&E can act on.
- Budget management: Own the ESBO Product & GTM function budget. Track spend against plan, flag risks early, manage vendor relationships and contracts where relevant, and ensure the function operates within its financial envelope. Lead the function’s input into annual planning and forecasting cycles with Finance.
- Strategic programmes: Ads Academy and beyond: Own the operational delivery of ESBO’s annual internal training and enablement programmes, including Ads Academy. This includes end-to-end planning, stakeholder coordination, content scheduling, logistics, and post-programme impact measurement. Identify and build new strategic programmes that develop capability across the team and the wider ESBO business.
- Ways of working and team infrastructure: Own the tools, templates, and processes the team uses to work - onboarding, documentation standards, knowledge management. Continuously improve how the function operates.
What this role is not
This role does not own product strategy, GTM decisions, or commercial outcomes, those sit with the domain teams. It does not own the content of Ads Academy or other enablement programmes, it owns their operational delivery. It is not a project coordination or administrative support role, it is a senior operational position that enables the whole function to perform at its best.
What we need for this role
- Experience in programme management, business operations, or a related field within ad tech, media, or a fast-moving product environment.
- Proven experience designing and implementing operational processes and frameworks that scale across a complex, cross-functional organisation.
- Strong financial literacy - comfortable owning and managing a function-level budget and working directly with Finance on planning and forecasting.
- Experience delivering large-scale strategic programmes end to end, including internal training or enablement programmes.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing detail.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills - able to drive alignment and accountability across senior stakeholders without formal authority.
- Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Experience working across product, GTM, sales, and engineering functions preferred.
- Pan-European experience in media or ad tech preferred.
What does success look like?
Success will be evident when the function runs with clarity and consistency - launches are sequenced and on time, impact is reported in a language leadership acts on, and key product launches, Ads Academy and other strategic programmes are delivered to a standard the business is proud of. The Director and domain Heads spend less time on operational friction and more time on strategy because the infrastructure underneath them works. You will have built something the team depends on.
Benefits of working at Samsung include:

- Car allowance
