- Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of GVI, this role sits at the intersection of commercial, analytics, and sales execution.
This role holds full commercial ownership of a significant secondary market spanning the UK and Europe.
You'll be responsible for protecting and growing that value — standardising the remarketing model across the region and building new revenue‑generating frameworks, including Certified Renewed and refurbished channel sales strategies.
This is a commercially‑driven role built on strong analytics.
The models and insights you produce won't sit on a shelf — they'll directly shape pricing, channel mix, and partner economics.
Your key responsibilities include robust collaboration across functions and subsidiaries; stakeholder management is critical to converting analysis into realised revenue.
- Own the secondary‑market revenue line (Virtual) across the region.
- Identify and build new routes to Subsidiaries coordination and management: Actively collaborate with the operation of GVI with the Leads/Heads of GVI in subsidiaries.
- Align local markets’ operations and sales roadmap with Suwon Office (HQ) strategic direction.
- Run processes with buyers and manage service‑provider performance to maximise recovery rates, ensuring the partner network delivers consistently to commercial KPIs and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain an accurate view of European secondary markets - residual value performance, competitive benchmarks, channel dynamics, and partner economics - and convert that view into pricing, channel, and partner decision.
- Work with subsidiaries and cross‑functional teams to plan and roll out revenue‑generating GVI initiatives, including the Samsung Certified programme, new trade‑in mechanics, and European recommerce activity, tracking the commercial return of each.
- Engage subsidiary teams, central functions, and external partners to drive alignment behind the commercial agenda and accelerate delivery of GVI revenue priorities.
- Define and monitor the metrics that show whether programmes are generating value, and use those insights to reallocate effort toward the highest‑return activity.
- Contribute to the GVI planning cycle, ensuring the analytical inputs, and programme milestones are in place to support European delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
- Commercial & Analytical
Capability: Comfortable working with large, imperfect datasets across markets, building structured models, and turning them into defensible commercial conclusions that drive revenue and margin.
Evidence of this kind of value‑generating work in prior roles is essential.
- Independent Delivery: Able to take a brief and produce finished, executive‑ready, commercially‑grounded work without close supervision.
- Communication Across Levels: Confident communicating with working‑level subsidiary teams through to president audiences.
- International Experience: Track record of working in multi‑cultural, cross‑border environments with sensitivity to different working styles.
- Cross‑Functional Delivery: Experience operating in virtual, cross‑functional teams spanning sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Driving Change Through Influence: Able to deliver complex, multi‑stakeholder projects and move revenue initiatives forward without direct authority.
- Communication and Presentation: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to present complex commercial topics clearly to senior audiences.
- Fast Learner: Quick to get up to speed on unfamiliar topics and confident operating in.
