The team in Europe is composed of Product Managers, Partner Managers and Technical Account Managers.
All are responsible for

We negociate, implement and manage partnerships with key ecosystem players, including media, gaming, telco companies as well as cultural institutions.
- Developing the Tizen footprint across Europe.
We negociate, implement and manage partnerships with key retailers and OEMs that leverage Tizen OS for their devices.
We work very closely with our Samsung Ads and Samsung TV Plus colleagues, and the three teams together comprise ESBO, the European Services Business Office, based at Eighty, The Strand, Central London.
Role and Responsibilities
Samsung Electronics UK is recruiting for a Strategic Partner Manager to join the European VD Ecosystem Team.
This person will be the face of Samsung to some of our most significant partners in Europe and participate in shaping the direction of the largest Smart TV operating system (OS) in the world.
In this position, you will negotiate deals, build and nurture relationships with ecosystem partners, with responsibility for growing Samsung’s content and services business and making sure partners are using Samsung’s full platform capabilities and distribution.
- Negotiate high value multi- and single-territory deals across Europe.
- Develop partner and market(s) partnership strategy.
- Develop highly effective, deep relationships with key partners.
- Provide day-to-day management of partner relationships with a focus on growth activities.
- Support Samsung’s European subsidiaries with local partner management.
- Drive thought leadership on the evolving Living Room OS space, and advocate across the organisation on behalf of partners and opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally across business, product, operations, and other parts of the organisation (including Korea HQ) to develop and implement business strategy.
- Drive thinking on key business metrics for partnerships, taking ownership for mobilising partners and internal resources to meet objectives.
- Prepare strategy documents, quarterly business reviews, and executive presentations.
- Travel as needed to visit partners and Samsung’s local offices.

While handling the day-to-day partner relationships, this person will need to be able to see the big picture while remaining detail oriented.
They will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, negotiate well, drive presentations and represent Samsung to all levels of partner organisations.
The Strategic Partner Manager will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiatives, manage multiple partners, and work under tight timeframes.
- To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Fluent in English; additional fluency in one or more European languages is highly desirable.
- 5-7 years of experience in deal negotiation and account management, ideally in the tech and media industry.
- Ability to solve complex problems and navigate through ambiguity.
- Passionate about technology and media trends.
- Persuasive, team-oriented and data-oriented leader.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong analytical mind with the ability to navigate and embrace complexity.
They will need to have a deep understanding of the media landscape, OTT trends and platforms, and evolving business models.
They will also need a keen sense of product awareness to articulate platform value and represent product requirements.
Outstanding relationship-building skills and the ability to dive deeply into both business and technical issues will be critical to success in this role.
