Our team is responsible for the product management in Europe of a suite of owned and operated global products developed by Samsung for use on our range of TVs, smartphones and tablets. Our main products include Gaming Hub, TV Plus, and Samsung News, a mobile-first news aggregation app pre-installed on all new Samsung devices. The ambitions for Samsung News are bold; the product is already in market in the UK and North America, with exciting growth plans in 2026 and beyond.

Your key responsibilities

  • Update and deliver the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with regional market needs and business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end product planning for feature launches, including localisation strategies tailored to the UK market.
  • Identify key blockers in the delivery pathway and think creatively and practically to resolve them.
  • Ensure all product initiatives comply with European regulations by collaborating closely with privacy and legal teams.
  • Act as the voice of the product team in internal and external meetings, fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
  • Support the data analytics team with developing reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with product teams across the US and Korea.
  • Ideate and identify growth opportunities for the service across the business.
  • Manage workflows for the Quality Control team in Poland, driving efficiency in testing processes.
  • Work closely with programme management and Content Operations to ensure successful deliveries.
  • Liaise with the editorial team for UAT initiatives, collecting feedback and tackling issues as needed.

What we need for this role

This is a 6 month fixed term contract. To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Hard Skills

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering product roadmaps.
  • Strong understanding of localisation strategies tailored to specific markets, particularly the UK.
  • Expertise in managing feature rollouts and product releases.
  • Proficiency in KPI reporting, analytics, and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with project management tools and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with the media and/or news industry is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Korean or European languages is a plus.
